Our mountain bikes at a glance
The Hardtail Mountain Bike
The ideal companion for cross-country trekking
Hardtail mountain bikes are the lightest of the mountain bikes. With the optimized aluminum frame, you can manage your energies on uphill sections so that you always stay firmly in the saddle on the downhill sections. The sporty, but at the same time comfortable riding position also allows for further rides in varied terrain. Thanks to its smooth-running tyres, our hardtail bikes are also comfortable for tours on paved roads.
The hardtail version is the all-rounder among mountain bikes. You can ride hardtail bikes on forest and woodland trails as well as master steeper mountain passages with no problem. If you want to tackle a trail, we advise you to go for the Fully variant, as these bikes have a higher stability and a larger suspension travel downhill. For pure downhill rides at high speed, the downhill bikes are the right choice for you.

The Fully Mountain Bike
Predestined for off-road fun
The Fully mountain bike inspires us with its combo of hardtail and the heavier downhill bike. The Fully bike offers special suspension on the front axle as well as at the rear. The suspension distance of up to 150 mm offers flexibility and playfulness downhill and also ensures adequate stability and control at higher speeds. The grippy tyres offer high traction even on steeper twists and turns. For trips into the mountains, the Fully bike is definitely the right choice.
For adrenaline-fueled descents, where maximum stability is the be-all and end-all, we recommend the downhill bike. Due to its greater mass, the downhill bike keeps you on track downhill, but is rather heavy and very strenuous for uphill trails. If you would rather focus on leisurely rides on flatter terrain, the hardtail bike is the better choice.

The Downhill Mountain Bike
Downhill with full stability and high speed
Downhill bikes are the heaviest and at the same time most stable representatives of the mountain bike range. A reinforced frame and wide tyres ensure high traction and full control at high speeds downhill. The suspension installed on both axles provides the necessary control of the bike. The long suspension distance of up to 200 mm ensures plenty of riding fun on every descent.
If you want to try out the Burgwald Trail, we advise you to choose the Fully mountain bike, as this offers greater flexibility and maneuverability in the varied sections of the trail. If your tour is not only downhill, but also uphill at the beginning, we recommend the hardtail mountain bike. With its lighter weight, you will be able to make progress without too much effort.
